It seems the internet can be used is for more than just porn. Here's some of the sites we've found to be useful (porn not included).

Technical
Ars Technica - A technical user community. While they cover a lot of industry news, they also discuss legal issues surrounding technology, such as privacy, file sharing, anti-trust, etc. They also do some hardware (mostly gadgets) and software reviews. The forums offer a great wealth of information if you're having any type of computer problems.

Tech Report - A hardware oriented tech site. Go here for reviews of the lastest CPUs, motherboards, video cards, and more. Their reviews are always impartial and instead of just posting a bunch of irrelavent bechmarks, they strive to cover a wide range of real-world applications.
Informational
Airliners.net - The main attraction here is the huge photo database of all types of aircraft.

Club RSX - If you can get past all the ricer talk, there's some pretty good information about car maintinence and upgrades. Deals mostly with the Acura RSX of course.

GameFAQs - Walkthroughs, strategies, and cheats for just about every game out there.

IMDB - The Internet Movie Database. Your one stop for all the information on movies, actors, and directors.

Rotten Tomatoes - A quick summary of movie reviews from many different media sources. Find out what movies you should see and which ones you should skip.

Wikipedia - A free encyclopedia, created by its users.
Shopping
Newegg - Computer parts, electronics, and other stuff. Good prices and they don't rip you off on shipping.

Woot! - They sell one item and one item only, but it's always heavily discounted. Items are changed daily so check often to see if it just happens to be something you need. If anything, go visit for the product descriptions, they're pretty funny.
Entertainment
Digitally Imported - Free streaming music. Focusing mostly on techno.

Last.fm - Create your own radio station. Just download the client player, then tell it the name of a artist. The player will start playing music similar to it. You can control what the client plays by telling it what you like and don't like. There's also a big community/networking component, where it will find users with similar tastes in music and you can create playlists of them, etc.

Sky.fm - Free streaming music. Many different stations from Jazz, Classical, Top 40, and several different types of techno.
Funny
Evil Overlord - A comprehensive list of things all Evil Overlords should be aware of. Of course, we here at World Domination Inc. have read the list and have made sure our Legions of Terror, Weapons of Ultimate Power, and Fortress of Doom are all up to the proper standards.

Home Star Runner - Animated comics. Definitely check out Strong Bad's Email.

Penny Arcade - Online comic about gaming featuring Tyco and Gabe.

Pure Pwnage - It started off as a project for film school and has since grown to an epic production. The show follows the gaming adventures of Jeremy (aka The Pwnerer), his friend FPS Doug, his roommate Dave, and the always-off-camera cameraman Kyle. The great thing is watching the quality of the cinematograpy go up as the episodes progress.

Steve Don't Eat It! - The continuing adventures of one man's journey into the deepest, darkest corners of the culinary landscape.

The Best Page in the Universe - A collection of articles written by some guy on the internet. Some people call it tasteless, I find it hilariously sarcastic.

VG Cats - Online comic about gaming... and cats.
